Inside the shell resides the Light

Within the Sacred Place
Peace and calm prevail.
If it is within,
It is without.
Without the Sacred Place within;
There is chaos
Both within and without.
Where is the Sacred Place?
It is within

Perception from one's point of view,
Is oftentimes askew;
Question what it is you see,
And think of another possibility;
If none is found then proceed,
But be wary of the deed;
For midstream you may find,
The water swift and unkind;
It is then that you will know,
There was another way to go

.

Each sunrise is replace by the next one
and as it is, it is forgotten.

There is no one left to remember
all we have done.
There is no one left to remember
all we have been.
No memories.
No deeds.
No existence.
As time passes all is forgotten.
There is no one left to remember
.

It is not a question of loyalty or need
it is more a choice of one direction.

Not adhering to any formality or
teaching, be strong enough to be
independent and have the
forbearance to withstand the constant
bombardment from all sides wanting to
recruit another to join their ranks.

Mindfully moving forward carefully
observing each side and being
meticulously respectful use what is
necessary at any given moment.

With gratitude and humility continue
on with the knowledge that courage
and strength are constant companions
and truth is the light that leads the way

The cave is not just for hibernating in winter.
It is a place to reflect, to delve deeply inside
to find the diamonds of inspiration or jewels
of clarity that keeps us moving forward.
It is a tool that requires a strong commitment
to ones growth and awareness.

The cave is a place unlike any other, and no
two are the same.
Its purpose is single-minded and forceful.
Its only agenda is to clear away the
unnecessary and confusion so that only
clarity remains.

The cave does not happen once or twice, it may
happen many times. No matter the timing,
once the process starts there is no retreating or
shortcuts, just down to the bare essentials of
self and purpose. Each foray into the cave is its
own experience and stands on its own.
